Artist Statement

Evergreen Lace has always been an experiment in balancing precision with organic movement. This coaster version pushes the pattern into a functional, tactile object that lives in everyday rituals, coffee in the morning, cider in the evening, gatherings with friends. My goal was to preserve the geometry without letting it feel rigid, letting the botanicals breathe across the surface while keeping enough symmetry to read instantly as CDW Studio. Seasonal design should feel alive, not just decorative.
